Read the prophesy again: 19 “For thus says the Lord God: ‘When I make you a desolate city, like cities that are not inhabited, when I bring the deep upon you, and great waters cover you, 20 then I will bring you down with those who descend into the Pit, to the people of old, and I will make you dwell in the lowest part of the earth, in places desolate from antiquity, with those who go down to the Pit, so that you may never be inhabited; and I shall establish glory in the land of the living. 21 I will make you a terror, and you shall be no more; though you are sought for, you will never be found again,’ says the Lord God.” What has been cast down into the 'pit' Is it inhabited? a simple Yes or No will do. Really. How fucking stupid are you? Why does your god need you to explain his fuck-ups. Tyre exists. It has never not existed since it was first built. Like Damascus.... another yahweh fuck-up...it has been conquered but never destroyed. Both sites are simply far too valuable pieces of real estate for any conqueror to destroy. Give it up already. You are making yourself look like a bigger asshole every time you open your mouth. Quote: Holy crap do you not understand that the ruins are not Ezk's tyre? There is only one Tyre, Dickhead. It has a longer history than your fucking jerusalem.... which was destroyed in 135 and rebuilt as Aelia Capitolina by Hadrian and subsequently renamed "jerusalem" by shits who are every bit as fucked up as you. Besdies, your fucking "god" said it would never be found again and he is obviously wrong since even you found it.....the rest of us knew it was never gone. Reality 1 god 0 Get over it, boy. Your god is a fucking loser. RE: Failed Biblical Prophecies

Then they shall know that I am the Lord.’ 7 “For thus says the Lord God: ‘Behold, I will bring against Tyre from the north Nebuchadnezzar[a] king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses, with chariots, and with horsemen, and an army with many people. 8 He will slay with the sword your daughter villages in the fields; he will heap up a siege mound against you, build a wall against you, and raise a defense against you. 9 He will direct his battering rams against your walls, and with his axes he will break down your towers. 10 Because of the abundance of his horses, their dust will cover you; your walls will shake at the noise of the horsemen, the wagons, and the chariots, when he enters your gates, as men enter a city that has been breached. 11 With the hooves of his horses he will trample all your streets; he will slay your people by the sword, and your strong pillars will fall to the ground. 12 They will plunder your riches and pillage your merchandise; they will break down your walls and destroy your pleasant houses; they will lay your stones, your timber, and your soil in the midst of the water. 13 I will put an end to the sound of your songs, and the sound of your harps shall be heard no more. 14 I will make you like the top of a rock; you shall be a place for spreading nets, and you shall never be rebuilt, for I the Lord have spoken,’ says the Lord God. ...Nebuchadnezzar did not do this. It did not say simply that Nebechadnezzar would attack and later the city would be consumed, it said that Nebuchadnezzar's men would send it into the sea themselves. Verse 3 Ezk speaks of a "Great many Nations." Verse 7 God Speaks of One of these nations and refers to them as Nebuchadnezzar and refers to this whole nation in the first person singular. "He." This is consistant with everything that has been attributed to Babylon. So from 7 to verse 12 God is giving a description of what babylon will be responsiable for. we know this to be true because again Babylon is refered to as "he," or rather King Nebuchadnezzar. Everything from 7 to 12 did infact come to pass under the leadership of Nebuchadnezzar. After verse 12 and forward Ezk refers to the invading armies as "they." They has been seperated from "he." They refers to the 'Many nations' gunning for tyre as verse 3 identifies. We know know "they" means the Greeks under Alexander the Great. You do not find it the least bit remarkable that absolutely everything that was said has come true? Even if you are confused about who did what, it is still an absolute wonder and the details of where and what happen to the city are accurate. Quote:Now how would we know where it was if we never found it? Do you have a different definition of the word 'found' than the one in the dictionary? We know where it is because the tides have dumped trillions of tons of sand on the remains of Old Tyre causeing the 'land bridge' to permentally connect the Port island of Tyre to the Main land of what is now known as Lebanon. It is considered Lost because no man has laid eyes on a single stone of that city for 3000 years. If not for the sand that created the causeway Old tyre would have been dismissed as myth. Which coinsides with the Hebrew defination of the word we translated into 'found.' matsa' 1) to be found a) to be encountered, be lighted upon, be discovered b) to appear, be recognised c) to be discovered, be detected d) to be gained, be secured (October 26, 2012 at 9:15 pm)Minimalist Wrote:Quote: Holy crap do you not understand that the ruins are not Ezk's tyre? ![]() (you/ how I picture you preaching from your faith dispite what the actual facts say.)
