Last presidential deabte, was there a winner?

RE: Last presidential deabte, was there a winner?
I actualy watched this one, I loved the part in which Obama explained to Romney why there are less horses and bayonnets in the US forces.
When an addult makes an argument like a child, that addult should be treated like a child.

Obama probably won and if he wins again, we have a fourth consecutive term of Bush policy. America seems to be even worse than Russia with its politics.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Either way you'd have a fourth consecutive term of Bush policies.

Also, I agree with Tino; media bias exists in pretty much any media company. That isn't to say that all media companies lean one particular way all the time (even Fox News had/has liberal and libertarian commentators), but speaking generally, there is an obvious lean most of the time.

From an outsider's perspective (i.e. I only catch glimpses of American TV), Fox News is clearly more right-wing, whilst MSNBC is more left-wing (Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow spring to mind). The others are somewhat centrist, but often lean left. I'd say MSNBC is as far left a "mainstream" broadcaster gets.

Not that there is anything necessarily wrong with bias; as long as you are open about it. Fox News does this to some degree, but very tacitly (Google "fox news admits bias" and you get plenty of links). Likewise, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow as far as I am aware do not hide the fact that their shows are biased towards the left. Most people have an agenda, and if you have a particular audience you want to market yourself towards, go for it. At the end of the day, the consumer chooses the product.

WHY? Two NBC pundits who constantly talk about right wing talking points, are not left wing and their certainly not as extremist as the entire rupert murdoch empire. We have nothing but right wing media and a series of hyper extremist fascist news groups. What's makes maddow and olberman left wing? Is it because they tell the truth and don't spread wild conspiracies? If that's a "left wing bias" than why aren't you left wing?

War on Terror (Obama is just another war criminal), deportations of immigrants (worse than any President before him), extending Bush tax cuts in 2010 and wanting to do so if re-elected, propping up Wall Street with the same Bush bailouts, etc.

Russia likewise elects tyrants that are in nobody's interest except for maybe the criminally corrupt.

Obama did not extend the bush tax cuts, or anything else you just said, he's president, not KING. Quit avoiding criticisms of republicans with retarded statements like "obama was president during <blank>"............ and change your stupid Jill Stein signature nobody beleives your an enviromentalist, you're just claiming to support a 3rd party so you can shit on obama freely and avoid any and all criticims for being a right wing republican

He actually has pushed for the extension of one Bush tax cut extensively this year (the Middle Class tax cut) and as President, has the right one actually veto these tax cuts. Had he done so in 2010, he could have ended them because there were not enough Republicans to challenge him at that point.

Think for a second....why would a Republican challenge Obama on the same crap they would be doing in his shoes? That's right....they don't.. They always avoid attacking him on the issues that count because they very well know they actually support the same bullshit. They call him a socialist when he passes GOP horseshit philosophy that completely fails.

I have no objection to drones dropping bombs on people who plan to make my life a living hell, or kill me.

war criminal? It was the Bush administration which lied to the entire world about "weapons of mass destruction" and who accepted waterbording as a legitemat way of gaining information from suspects.
And I am amazed that they got away with that.

didn`t know that, and I am suprised. My source says that GOP would want to increase the number of deportation, so if your against deportation of immigrants both are bad choices.
I dont know much about immigration into the US and about it`s social impact so I cant say that much about it.

My source says that he called for an extention for one year, for cuts for middle class families. So it doesn`t mean that he calls for an extention for the next 4 years in office.
The power of the banking sector - and generaly the massive scale of lobbying in your country is frightening - I agree.

In the past 2 years, eaven under the "more liberal" pupet president Medvediev an estemated 25 journalists have been murderd who were critical of the russian goverment, others had in some cases been beaten to silence. Before Medviedev under Putin, the number of murdered journalits was eaven higher, murdered journalists also included the famous Anna Politkovskaya.
People critical of the regime like Mikhail Khodorkovsky have been jailed, the number of protesters which are inprisoned is estemated to be much higher.
People critical of the regime are not only arrested and harased but also defamated "They are nothing but a bunch of sexualy distorted sick individuals (homosexuals)" Putin reffered to people protesting his goverment.
Russia is a federal "republic" with several semi-autonomus states and republics, each one ruled by a pro putin puppet and in some cases by sadistic tyrants who brutaly rule over their peoples (Ramsan Kadyrow).

Comparing Obama with Putin is far fetched.
