I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

And written also better.

I did and Yes I am comparing the Bible to Harry Potter.
One has an evil dark lord who wants to rule the world, and has special powers can kill people at will. Also rules the world with an iron fist. Also commits genocide and tortures people for fun.
And one is Harry Potter.

You mean you didn't get this ball rolling with the "best seller" quip John? Comparisons to others works of fiction were inevitable from that point on.

Speaking of which....... printing off copies of this sordid little rag on some schmucks donated dime and then squirreling them away in a seedy motels bedside drawer does not a best-seller make, imho. But to each his own. Hmn, lets see how many times the Bible has made an appearance on the best seller list.....(looks....looks again)....ah, that's right. It isn't on the list, it has never been on the list. But have fun running with that anyway.

Seriously? I compared the bible to Harry Potter by mentioning sales of the Bible and not mentioning Harry Potter? That's really how your mind works?

Apparently so, yours doesn't? The best seller bit was your baby, own the fallout.

Actually, my little chuckles were more aimed at reversing the roles of which narrative should be venerated and which should be denigrated. You might say "are you really comparing harry potter to shakespeare" whereas I might say "are you really comparing the bible to harry potter?" We are both expressing the same sentiment, though clearly we have different opinions on which is the superior work of fiction in one of the two examples...lol.

This is my view of what Christians believe about their god, them and their book:
1. An all powerful being that can literally go anything.
2. If he does something, it is automatically good and righteous (genocide, murder, rape etc..)
3. He only allows those who follow him without question to experience bliss and there rest get eternal punishment.
4. We are mere property which he can do anything to without punishment.
5. We were all born evil because of two peoples fuck up 6000 years ago.
6. Would be murdering left right and center if it was not for their book and God's word.
7. Would kill on command if it came from their God.
8. Believe (not all) that the earth is and the universe was 6000 years old.
9. Believe that primitive savages have more knowledge about the world then we do now.

Please tell me that you really don't believe this as if you do, you really need to get your head examined by a professional psychiatrist.
Please Christians tell me I am wrong and WHY I am wrong and We all know when you are bullshiting and I prefer if you were completely honest about what you really believe.

After reading this and your other comments it seems to me you insert a lot into what was said and you take out anything good, you show your ignorance of who God is by listening to others and not researching scriptures. Get real and you might be taken seriously.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
