Why do you believe?

RE: Why do you believe?
Can you voltron prove that the remains were simply removed if you found the empty tomb? Allow me to answer that question for you, no. Absolutely no! But would an empty tomb support historical facts? Absolutely yes!

An empty tomb does not support resurrection myths. The only evidence that it provides is that the remains are no longer there.

The Germans are coming
Ahh! So according to your own statement the resurrection of Christ relies on a empty tomb. We may cannot find the empty tomb into days world but the ancients knew where the tomb lay. Infect according to eye witnessed accounts the Romans before Christ was risen placed armed guards in front of the tomb to guard it. The ancients knew where the tomb was. Jesus followers knew. His enemies knew. That's not an historical argument. Just because the present doesn't know (and that's an argument all in it's self) doesn't destroy historical facts. So according to your wonderful analogy of the empty tomb history has proven Jesus Christ has risen. Lol

I do not think you know what "proven" means.

Oh, but it does support the facts. First century Christians claimed that Christ was alive after his burial and that the tomb was empty. If we find the tomb, and it's empty this claim would be supported on a high level (which already is) It won't prove it it just will support the claims of the first century Christians. That's hard to refute.

Um, no, it only support the part where it says "and that the tomb was empty". It doesn't provide a high level of evidence, nay, any evidence that he was ressurected.

A empty tomb. Might aswell mean that a 3 eyed oger stole the bones and has been rubbing his penises against them ever since.

Eyewhitness acounts!?!? laughtabel!

There are eyewhitness acounts from 1700 in germany that are about giant talking snakes and dragons.

And again! There are no facts! aslong as you havent found the empty tomb! And aslong as you havent found conclusive viabel proof that Jesus flew of into the sky!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT FACT MEANS!

MUST I DRAW YOU PICTURE WITH COLOR CRAYONS?

So some other Christians claim the tomb was empty too? So what?

If I claimed that an alien was standing next to me but then left for his home planet, would you find the fact that he was not there to support my claims?
