I didn`t write anything here because I am not very good in comforting people and giving support. Not meaning that I dont feel sorry for Shell and hope she finds a solution to her difficult situation.
I simply find it hard to find the wording for phrasing my supportive message and am not use to such openess.

And generaly speaking, I`m not a very nice man.

But to deliberatly make a remark rideculing a individual who has expressed her personal dilema - and thereby seeking support and understanding.

Is a kind of low I haven`t jet encountered.

Hmm, if only, "I don't want to do that." was a reasonable and accepted response during an interpersonal discourse.

I am an honest person who is an introvert. I am troubled by how disingenuous I have to be to avoid hurting other people's feelings. Weird really, how we can't just speak our minds because we live in a society where speaking your mind is discouraged to the point that everyone assumes that there is some kind of game afoot and they can get what they want if they only choose the right words to jostle you out of your position.

We should devolve decision making to a series of coin tosses to avoid any true way of knowing each other. Maybe we could revert to goat entrails as a way of making decisions, that way if you don't want to do something you can slay a goat and read whatever you want into the way the guts and blood splay out on your scrying table.

After reading this back to myself I realize that I am probably in too strange a mood to really make much sense today. Maybe it was followable?

I don't think that a desire to be respected and recognized as a human being with feelings and priorities that other must acknowledge can be defined as "messed up".

Then again, pardon me if I sound a little patronizing, but your religious views don't help you to understand the principles of freedom and respect of the will of others.

Your religion drilled the concept "help others even if they don't want your help" (an immoral idea) in your mind. Leaving people alone when they don't want you in their life is detrimental to proselitism.
