Views on Islam

Hey i use to be an atheist but converted to Islam. Back in the day i use to love hitting on Islam.
I was just wondering what Athiests views are these days on Islam.

Imam's condoning rape and euphamistically calling the practice 'short lived marriage' is barbaric in my opinion.

Wow that's shocking i agree with you there brother that is barabaric. But this short lived marriage has no Quranic basis so in my viewpoint you couldn't claim it to be Islamic but infact anti-islamic and more a Muslim clerics opinion. Wow and imam's condoning rape that again is shocking and against Islam. Islam is very set against rape.

Well it isn't too hard to find barbarism in Islam as it is practiced in reality.

wow truly shocking images. But these images dont have islamic basis. Just as the cutting off noses ones. That is haram in Islam. Beheading one you would have to tell me the punishment for. The whipping one appears very haram as i dont see an Islamic state and an islamic court carrying out the punishment there as the title is in German i think. So that one again is haram. 3 out of your 5 images i would class as haram in islam. 1 of them is ambigous, the beheading one, i can niether comment but considering their are people around im not even sure if that has anything to do with islam unless you can give me references? As for the women being buried im guessing for punishment for adultury. Due to people burying her it appears to be something like the taliban carrying out the punishment not an Islamic state telling me that it hasn't gone through the correct Islamic court system. Unless you can give me a reference showing it has. Again i would count that picture as haram in islam. So i would regard all the images haram(prohibited)

*Edit* i retract my statements on the whipping one noticed the iran in the top their.
However i couldnt comment on if it haram or not because i dont know why he is being whipped. Plus it is a shia state so may have some laws which i would regard as haram.
