Oh but sometimes they don't. Sometimes the excuse is that they are cleaning their weapons. I'm sorry but if you're gonna clean your gun, the FIRST thing you ought to be doing, is making sure you TAKE ANY BULLETS OUT.
Stupid people shouldn't be allowed to have such items.

Oh, and if you can't remember that you put bullets in your gun in the first place, you really, really, really shouldn't have access to guns.

Thing is, they aren't the stupid ones, we are, for letting them slide on obvious bullshit. Charge and convict them of asny number of applicable felony crimes. People like that -can't- have guns, unless we're just going to continue being idiots on that front too.
