78-year-old man, suspect dead after Florida home invasion

Police say 25-year-old Ricardo Garcia Gomez entered the home of Paul and Mary McLees with a large knife on Saturday. He was forcing Paul McLees to open a safe when McLees pulled a gun from the safe and started firing at Gomez. McLees' 72-year-old wife was struck twice by bullets.

I wonder how the wife feels about the whole thing this morning?

Teenager accidentally shot and killed by girlfriend, police say

He and his 16-year-old girlfriend were handling the gun just after midnight Friday. The 16-year-old apparently was trying to latch the safety lock when the gun went off, hitting Lara in the face.
Detectives said Lara was dead when they arrived.

Friends of Lara said he was a big fan of cars and sports. And that's how they plan to remember him, as they're left devastated by his sudden death.

Apparently knew fuckall about guns, though.

Grandmother accidentally shot, killed by daughter in Town ‘n’ Country

Detectives say Wright’s teenage grandchild had come home with a gun. The teen’s mother, who has not been identified, attempted to unloaded the weapon.

Deputies say the woman apparently thought it was empty, but there was still one round in the chamber, and she accidentally fired the weapon striking her mother in the upper body.

The family that shoots together stays together...for a while.

So far, so good.

But then

Police in Florida have used the incident as an opportunity to issue guidelines for teenagers and parents on safely playing the game.

Wouldn't it have been even more appropriate to tell trigger happy gun nuts to put their guns away and go back to stroking their dicks?
