Not a bad idea.  I could see that working here as well, at least as a law that would have a snowballs chance in hell of passing.  The second amendment people don't get to bitch, because hey, a shotgun is a gun - they get to keep their guns (there's nothing in N. America that you cant hunt with a shotgun anyway).  Air rifles are quickly becoming the preferred option for target shooters like myself. Cost of ammos squeezing our thinner wallets, lol.

1-year-old son of California corrections officer shot and killed by sister

The 1-year-old son of a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation employee was shot dead on Wednesday in the town of Chowchilla.

According to ABC News, the boy was accidentally shot by his sister, who had somehow gained access to a gun belonging to their mother Erica Bautisa.

"Somehow gained access"  I doubt that it is much of a mystery.

First off.... the "process" of making a gun safe is not complete until the gun IS safe and the weapon should not be pointed at anyone during the process.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis woman is now facing charges after police said her 3-year old son accidentally shot and killed his 5-year old sister.
