ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The New Mexico teenager accused of fatally shooting his parents and three younger siblings had apparently never been in trouble with the law, according to state officials.

A records check by the Children, Youth and Families Department indicated no trouble with 15-year-old Nehemiah Griego or his family, spokesman Bob Tafoya said Monday.

"This youth had no history with the juvenile justice system," Tafoya said.

He became a "criminal" AFTER he shot his first victim...not before.

And not surprisingly...

Investigators trying to piece together what led to the violence found several guns believed used in the shootings, including one described by authorities as a semi-automatic assault-type rifle.

I suppose he could have used a knife. There were probably many varieties in the home. But he chose the gun - which probably belonged to "daddy" ( the xtian preacher!) because it was oh-so-much-more-efficient and probably just as handy.

Not a thug. Not even a juvenile delinquent. Just a kid from one of those god-fearing, gun-toting, families we hear about ad nauseam, who snapped over something....and now we can add 5 more bodies to the pile.

Meh, those are just numbers, not humans. We cant undermine corporate gun manufactures, they need to eat too.

Even for stone-faced, seen-it-all-before officers, the act that took place at a police lieutenant's Las Vegas-area home Monday was deeply distressing.

It depends, did he shoot off the penis or the gun, The title is not quite clear.
With some of the gun nuts I've seen, it could be either one..
