MUKILTEO, Wash. -- A local man was robbed by an acquaintance with his own gun while trying to sell it to a friend of the acquaintance earlier this month in Mukilteo, according to the Mukilteo Police Department.

According to police, the victim took a ferry to Mukilteo with a 21-year-old acquaintance from Oak Harbor, who happens to be a convicted felon, in order to sell a gun to a friend of the acquaintance.

So, was this the 'good guy' with a gun trying to sell it to a 'bad guy' so he could have a gun or was he only a 'good guy' up until he decided to sell it to the bad guy? This shit is so confusing.

Man Accidentally Shoots And Kills Teen Brother During 'Walking Dead'

Investigators said that the 24-year-old man was removing his gun from its holster, and the gun accidentally discharged. The 16-year-old was shot in the chest.

A 9-month-old Indiana boy was fighting for his life on Thursday after being accidentally shot in the head by his father.

WTHR reported that 31-year-old John Hambaugh, III, was in his kitchen cleaning his gun on Wednesday when the weapon discharged. The round traveled through Hambaugh’s left thigh and into his 9-month-old son’s head, who was thought to be standing next to his father.

I bet he didn't think it was loaded.

It seems like the "good guy with the gun" was really being a "good guy" and had the gun safely locked away.

No doubt the NRA will attempt to show how this proves how the "good guy with a gun" was able to defeat the bad guy and therefore open carry is justified. In reality, when the incident started, Kevin Vickers was only armed with his ceremonial sword. He does not carry a gun in the normal course of his duties but keeps one in his office safely under lock and key:
