A Williamsville man has been treated and released from a local hospital after a turkey hunting accident on Tuesday with an Arkansas man.


35-year-old James Clubb was apparently shot by 51-year-old Craig Zimmer as Zimmer claims he mistaked Clubb for a turkey.

First of all, the proper phrase Mr. Newspaper Reporter would be that he "mistook Clubb for a turkey."

Second....how fucking stupid do you have to be to make that mistake?

A 2-year-old Arizona boy was in critical but stable condition on Friday after he shot himself in the face with his father’s handgun, which he apparently found wrapped up in sheets on the man’s bed, police said.

The firearm “was rolled up like a pillow,” in the master bedroom where the child was playing while his grandmother watched television and his aunt washed dishes, according to police.

A western Kentucky sheriff’s deputy was placed on paid leave after accidentally shooting his mother during a wedding ceremony.

Detective Cory Golightly, a McCracken County sheriff’s deputy, brought a personal weapon over the weekend to the wedding at Bardwell Baptist Church in nearby Carlisle County, reported WPSD-TV.
The weapon fell to the ground and fired – striking Golightly’s mother — as the deputy adjusted his jacket, investigators said.

Apparently these fucking things go off all the time if you drop them.  Most L-ARGOs should attempt to not drop them.  Gravity never loses.

Whenever I'm on the radio and the subject of guns comes up, I try to explain to gun-loving listeners that no, liberals aren't trying to suppress their freedom by controlling guns. It's just that people who live in cities have an entirely different emotional reaction to the concept of gun control, simply because those of us who live in them are so frequently exposed to the random nature of shootings.
