Joshua Milton Blahyi, aka "General Butt Naked" (That was his nickname, for him and his men going out to war naked). He killed thousands of people in the Liberian wars, women and children were cannibalized, and the hearts were eaten to increase strength.
Now he has converted to evangelical Christianity, and living a peaceful life.

Apparently the guy was always a nutjob. Says he was a tribal priest - so I can't think of his conversion as anything more than a manager at McDonalds making a "career change".....by going to work for Burger King.
