What would make me accept the existence of a deity?

In my experience I would believe in God if I had valid inductive or deductive logic based on logically sound premises. The induction would come from science, the deduction would come from the logic beyond science that is based on tautologically true premises that cannot possibly be false otherwise they wouldn't be tautologically true. Science on the other hand, can be false, that is why it is falsifiable, which is what makes it science.

I think there is a point that skepticism is just stupid.

I don't think that point is third-rate parlor tricks like you described. There were aliens doing shit like that every other week on Star Trek.
