Was anybody here raised non-Christian?

Was anybody here raised non-Christian?
I was raised Catholic, but I figure that is basically "Christian".

Is there anybody here who was raised non-Christian? Who was actually raised by non-religious parents? Anybody who wasn't taught from a young age that there was a "God"?

Angel
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I was raised non-religious, though not overtly atheist. Gods and whatnot simply never factored into it; not altogether uncommon here in the UK. My parents taught me to read at a very early age and encouraged my fascination with astronomy, as well as the value of critical thinking and not taking any dubious-sounding claim merely on the face of it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yes.
What more is there to say? I only said the stuff on this line because yes is less than the 5 character minimum.

Yes. Religion was not a factor in my upbringing, nor was it in my kids or their kids.

And funnily enough, not one of them has found god.

If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

catholic mum, anglican dad.

They argued over how to raise me, and then decided that maybe the best thing would be to let me chose my faith myself.

And in the end I didn`t chose anything at all.

My parents took us to church a few times, but they got tired of all the bullshit. After that religion and god were not discussed.

My dad was a hippie 'spiritualist' so he married a buddhist.
