Will there be a church in the future?

RE: Will there be a church in the future?
I believe there will still be churches. Simply because there are people capable of indoctrinating their children in a way in which they are being so brainwashed, they can't think for themselves.

Jesus will return to establish his Worldwide Church. So the answer to your question is YES!

It must be nice living in a dream world 24/7.

I mean, I suppose asking you for hard, testable evidence of this claim would be a waste of time right? Because your reply will be "just read the bible, it clearly states in [insert chapter/verse]".

Here's an otter in a bib:

Yes. Christianity will last along time because of brainwashing their children. I however believe that they will the become atheist or agnostic because they will realise the truth. Some will however carry on what their parents taught them about Jesus and pass it onto their children.

2.5 million people convert to Christianity every year with no prior "indoctrination." In 1900, Christians were roughly 34.5% of the world population (558 million). In 2012, Christians were about 33.4% of the world population (7 billion). The idea that Christianity is shrinking is a myth.

And where did you get your "facts" from?

Not everywhere it isn't, no.

However, look at almost all Northern and Western EU states and you'll see a ubiquitous trait of main stream Christian churches falling in attendance levels and capital assets. For example:

It's an interesting read to compare it to the ONS data from 2001.

That worldwide percentage a bit of a generalization. Remember, there's a distinct difference in the percentage of religious folk between different countries (e.g. around 30% of Britons are theistic, whereas America boasts, if that's the right word, a whopping 85% theistic populace). Interestingly, there is an evident trend where countries with better education systems and more academically able people (this means better educated, not more intelligent necessarily. Religiousness is not proportionate to intelligence.) tend to show a far reduced religious population. This is not because countries indoctrinate the children with "science" with an agenda to boot religion, it is simply because religiousness stems mainly from a lack of education in the relevant fields.

There will be tens of thousands of churches in 200 years assuming we have not destroyed ourselves by then. Many churches now are in areas where you would not expect them....Jr Seaus in San Diego became a church.....it's at a shopping mall.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
