Religion in the Home

An other question has come to mind, how do you get along with a person of an opposing religion.

For the last few days my mom has been flaring at me over the wallpaper (though she does not say it, her words and actions say it ALL).

Jesus brings war and conflict in the same way you bring challenge to your mom's beliefs/ sensitivities. I believe if your aim is constructive then it's wholly justified.

We mostly just don't talk about it, when we do it comes down to me pointing out why I see things my way and her repeating the same sentence about peoples beliefs being personal for 20 mins.

Then she usually gets annoyed and says something like "you don't get it" and walks off lol.

Eventually you won't be living with your mom. I'd say "I'm my own person and I have a right to my own thoughts. I prefer to not be religious and you will just have to get over it."

I'm glad my parents didn't care if I believed in a God or not.
