Lilly, wouldn't you have been a little young for the Pokemon craze? That was like 1997 - 2000 I thought. Don't remember it at all after 2000.

I was 5 when I got pokemon Yellow and http://www.ign.com/games/arthurs-absolut.../gbc-15071 for my birthday.

I played the game all the time. Ahh, so thankful for backlit screens of today. Got pokemon gold and silver on release day, and loved it (gave my gold to someone because I thought they'd enjoy it).

Pokemon crystal came out, I bought it, started a new game... and cried. Hard.

Neat. Thought that was only a thing of my sub-generation

I remember Gameboy Colors but my first one was a purple Gameboy Advanced. It didn't have a backlight either so I remember how frustrating it was to play without good lighting.

I wasn't into Pokemon though.

Other Japanese movies are awsome do, like Hana Bi or Outrage or that awsome film about nudle soup I forgot the name of.

My cousin had a yellow Game Boy with Pokémon Yellow to go with it. I was so jealous Smile
