Holly crap guys, I fucking hit paydirt. Found a 24/7 online feed called "Waterloo Radio" on facebook. which plays not just the ABBA hits but all their songs, and solo career songs and remakes by other artists.
FYI Anni Frid had a solo hit "Something's Going On", I may have already mentioned it, but what I did not know is that Phil Collins of Genesis played drums for that song and video.
Oh and for those who remember the 80s hit "One Night In Bangkok" that was a score for the Benny and Bjorn musical called "Chess".
No one gives a shit I know. But man wow I heard songs I had forgotten about like "Honey Honey" and "On And On And On".
Heard some techno versions and Jazz remakes of all sorts of ABBA songs. It is also interesting to hear them in Spanish, French and Swedish.

I love Abba. Hated disco at the same time. Hmm.
Went into IKEA Manchester last weekend and there was a tribute band playing in the foyer. I was singing along at the top of my voice coming down the stairs to be greeted by these two very attractive women grinning at me Haha!

That sounds so cool. Good for you.
I wish I had been old enough back then to see them in concert. I doubt though living where I live there are enough ABBA fans for even a tribute band to play in the South where I live.

For fans of Pop 80s music, I just found out that Bananarama did a cover of ABBA's "Waterloo"

Hold on now, ABBAs not cool? Surely we can settle this with violence?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

ABBA's not cool. 1v1 me, scrub
I am fine with listening to them on occasion, but if they come on randomly: it's usually just annoying. I went over what was 'good' about them (and where they fall short) many a page ago, and my entire analysis was completely ignored.

Violet, if caring were requirement for evolution then both you and I would be dead. So as far as a 1v1 on this topic, no point, we are not talking about life and death here. You don't like ABBA as being serious musicians. Ok. I think they were underestimated and under appreciated and extremely talented.
