My cat is in my lap, purring, right now, but I have no doubt she's plotting my demise.

Cat fear is real, man. It's real and it's warranted. Cats are superior. The more quickly we get used to this fact, the better off we are.

Shit. Gotta go. She's waking up and she looks pissed... I hope she doesn't read this...
