Apparently they considered Mozart but decided against it as they didn't want it to seem as though humanity was showing off.

Just because music is made on the computer doesn't mean the artist is any less musically talented then someone that plays an instrument.
If people actually made an effort to see the effort and talent that goes into making a good dubstep song then perhaps they wouldn't have such ignorant opinions.
I can agree with this; however, I'm still dumbfounded as to why people pay good money to see a person, 'in concert', push play on his computer.

Because they don't just push play on their computer.
Mix tables and all that.
And besides, it's the atmosphere/enviroment of being at a concert listening to youyr favourite artists live with your friends.

That and the really good electronic musicians will play variations on their songs in their concerts, so the live music is somewhat original.
And let's not forget about the drugs...

And consider this: In and amongst all this fucked-upedness, people still have the self-striving delusion that there's a purpose to it all.
If you believe it, question it. If you question it, get an answer. If you have an answer, does that answer satisfy reality? Does it satisfy you? Probably not. For no one else will agree with you, not really.

Enjoy what you enjoy but don't go throwing bullshit around. How difficult it is to make the music you like shouldn't be a factor in determining whether you enjoy it or not, anyway.

How fucked up the world is a relative thing.
Mars is too cold and it's hard to breath.
The moon is dusty and it's hard to breath.
Venus, hot with its greenhouse effect and it's hard to breath.
So we're not as fucked up as the neighbours, getting there though.

I have to concur. I'm not a big fan of electronica/techno/dubstep/etc. but I do love a live show. I went to a Chemical Brothers concert some years ago (hubby's pic, not mine), and I have to say it was amazing. The venue had epilepsy warning signs up because of the light show, which, not having epilepsy, I disregarded. Came out of the show blind and deaf. A good time was had by all
