Thinking I'd certainly be tempted to...

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

The temptation is enough. You know, the implications of that button are really creepy...

In response to the title [because I'm going to side-step certain individuals here utilizing dusty bronze age and medieval age books as justification for their desire to force their views on others], no, it should not. Au/Ag time: I would not want someone altering my body chemistry to affect who I would be attracted to, since my being attracted to a particular someone would not be causing anyone any harm, if the other person was consenting, so therefore I would not do it to someone else.

(bolded by me)

And with that attempted dig at others forcing their views on others, you force yours on them instead... Undecided

That raises an interesting question. How should the opinions of the homosexuals that would be prevented from ever existing be weighed? For some odd reason, I'm reminded of the church's historical attempts to stamp out contrary opinions by stamping out the people who hold them, literally.

Though I'll bite. What is your reasoning why only homosexuals should attempt to grapple with a question which has far ranging implications for medical ethics both for homosexuals and others whose birth might by some be considered undesirable?

Um, saying not to change people is forcing your beliefs on them? Au contraire. It is letting what is be.

Because I know homosexuals who would choose to not be gay if they had the choice. And I also know homosexuals who fucking hate straight people who "take up the cause" for them. In other words, allow people to make up their own mind...
