Stéphane Hessel is dead.

I dont know if a lot of people in this forum can assosiate alot with him since he was more famous in Germany and France. In short he was a member of the resistance against nazi germany a holocaust survivor and in post war germany a very loud and great left wing activist and intellectual.
His books such as "Empört Euch!" are well known and criticaly acclaimed here.
