Spelling is over-rated

It's curious that it is so easy to read it ... after only a minor mental shift (looks weird at first and then you just shrug and get on with it) you can read it really fast. Yet spelling is obviously important (to us) because when spellings are wrong they stand out so very obviously.

Adrian, I read that without noticing the misspelling Big Grin Though i think it was because i was skim reading...

Spelling helps people be absolutely certain of what they are reading. If i am trying to find out what word you used in ____ scenario for instance: spelling is very helpful.

Another problem with spelling is accidentally using the wrong letters. That should be avoided at all cost. ANd i think this and missing words is usually more of a problem than having words a little scrambled.

Not silly :o, those two would both do it, especially if you have key repeat on Smile

I don't think i could fall asleep on my keyboard though (can't speak for everyone)... I don't think being tranquilized counts as falling asleep.
