Hello there!

Hi guys! I just joined the forums, after lurking for around a month... Maybe I can add/offer something useful at some point.
I'm a 'new' atheist - as in a few months worth of disbelief and research.
I recently told my mother that I don't believe anymore (She's a fundie) and ever since, there has been a barrage of questions from her/her friends.
I enjoy debates, so this hasn't been too much of a downside, but I hope to gain more answers!

Hello and welcome to AF! ^_^
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

If you want to learn how to debate and answer the inevitable questions and defenses that typical fundies and xtians come up with, go to youtube and search "the atheist experience". I have spent a great deal of time watching these videos and they are incredibly educational.
Matt Dilahunty is my current hero. He is truly a rock star for rational thought and reasoned positions. Watching him will teach you how to approach and refute virtually any argument the xtians con come up with, and many you havent even thought of yet!
Welcome aboard!
