A few weeks ago my dad got into a motorcycle accident. Pretty serious stuff. Needless to say, there was a huge amount of "Thank God for ect. ect.". So my mom posts these updates about him, for example on the day of the accident she posted that there appeared to be no brain damage. Following twenty or so comments of "God is good!" and "Thank God!", and let's not forget "May God continue to bless him".... WTF

It is always heart broken when a bike is damage beyond repair. "Sigh". Now that reminds to go sprinkle some voudou dust on mine so that never... I mean don't happen. :)
The last ironic thing I remember happened at a friend's place. It was about 5 of us just hanging out and having a few beers. One of my Christian friends brought 3 bottles of spirits for himself. Needless to say, he was gone very quickly and began acting a little violent. The rest of us had to keep an eye out for him and make sure he wouldn't break anything or anyone. At one stage, he ran out of the house and legged it down the street. There was a high chance that he was going to pass out (he finished 1 & 1/2 of his bottles by then), so a mate and I had to go for a drive until we finally found him. After all the mayhem he caused, he finally sat down on the couch and was pretty much ready to crash for the night... but first, he had to preach to us about Jesus and why he was a Christian! Talk about receiving inspiration from the Holy spirit(s)!
