In this context, a NATURE is what one is, while a PERSON is who one is.
Its not a Christian problem or dilemma or whatever you love to call it because it's easily explained, socrates does not and did not undermine the integrity of christianity but rather provided an opportunity to show the strength of being a triune being, a trinitas.
The trinitas is central to most Christian faiths which you would have known had you actually studied this siht, its believe is that there is only one God in three persons and while distinct from one another in their relations of origin and in their relations with one another, they are stated to be one in all else, co-equal, co-eternal and consubstantial, and each is God, whole and entire as the bible says.

This is also apparently why he thinks god isn't a dictator, besides the fact that I told him god isn't a dictator because he doesn't exist. What I actually meant is he does things indicative of one.

Yeah, you can, just say the cosmology of the bible has no basis in fact, according to fact finding techniques infinitely superior to any that existed when people first began to think bible had basis in fact.

Yeah I've tried to explain to him that the people who wrote the bible didn't have any grasp of what science is. He doesn't really like science, he says that it's just as much of a guess as god is. He also calls atheism a religion, when I linked him the definition of religion from several different sources. Then he says "well atheists generally agree with buddhism and jewdeism". So there's really no way to convince these people. It's a massive headache waiting to happen, and I don't have the sort of extraordinary patience required to deal with it. So it's useless to try to explain to him about fact finding techniques, because according to him he thinks that science can't be 100% right. It's enough to make you vomit, but that's what friends are for.

I don't think there's much to be gained by discussion with him, until such time as he come to you seeking honest discourse.

Tell him when Christianity can guess a man onto the moon or guess a vaccine out of a bible, then he could claim science is just as much a guess as God is. Until then, God is one pathetically idiotic guess.

Oh trust me, he is. He is illogical in many other subjects. He loves national socialism, but identifies as alt right. Frequently talks about "social marxism", sympathizes with the nazis and loves George Lincoln Rockwell. The reasons I can so openly discuss this stuff with him, is because he's so extremely blunt in the way he talks. He can say "cuck" "fag" "nigger" "kike" facetiously all he wants, I can try to counter point whatever arguments he makes. It's a blast, he even calls me a degenerate when I talk to him about the guys I try to date. He sends me hundreds of pictures of European girls with swastikas, I spam him with whatever sfw pictures I have of cute guys and joke pictures. He's the most psycho person I have ever met in terms of politics, and pretty much all of my friends I have ever had online have been extremely psycho. I've met a few.

I agree, I've seen those statements too. I've given up on trying to put them into an argument. The only reply I get is "you've never read the bible, so you don't know what you're talking about". Well no, I haven't read the bible. I've been against religion ever since I was in my early teens. I've always thought church was a load of shit, I just never solidified myself into an atheist thinker until I discovered what atheism was, when all the pieces sort of fell into place. In his mind, whatever he says is true, so if you haven't read what he's read, he will say that you don't know the context, therefor your arguments are invalid. Most of the videos I watch and have always watched are Sargon of Akkad, The Amazing Atheist, Darkmatter2525, to name a few. I couldn't use those in an argument, obviously, because it will just be seen as biased logic. Tbh I find it way more difficult to read someone's religious crap than say, watch the entire carl sagan's cosmos, like I did when I was a lot younger. I do want to read the bible some time, but I just feel like I am not cut out to be a serious debater, because I just find trying to study some bullshit opposition which often sounds stupid right from the first couple sentences way too arduous.
