Even when if we do, he'd probably just reincarnate into (I dunno) a cat or something. Notoriously hard to kill off, these Buddhists.

When I wrote it I thought about retyping it into something that made more sense, yet continued to express what it means, but I was too lazy to think about what you'd think you thought I thought you were thinking. So I left it the way it is.
