I use the same avatar across all social platforms - easy enough to confirm had anyone clicked on the links in the "keeping in touch" thread, where many more confirming pictures exist that I am who I am. If you felt like being that nosy. Only a handful of people who have access to this forum have received, however, Rhythm's "PoP."

How does using it all over confirm that it is you? For a few years the only one I used is the one I use here. That only suggests I am white.

And my experience over the years since avatars became common is that if they are the woman they are mostly likely from their picture but decades younger.

It's hard to fake all the pictures I've been tagged in, in candid situations, on Facebook.

That picture is a couple years old, not decades. I really am only (!) 28. But you may ask anyone on here who's also seen me on Google Hang Out or in real life. [shrugs]

Perhaps I falsely assume you wouldn't think I was stupid enough to use a fake picture when my screenname is so intrinsically linked to my real name (not that you would know this off the bat), and since you were so quick to point out to Love how easy it is to google things/people anymore... [shrugs]

You don't have to take it at face value, I'm just saying it's there. Once or twice on this forum I've had theists try to hand my ass to me saying I depended on my avatar to get me what I wanted (presumably what I wanted in their minds was "being right," and presumably the comments made because they found it attractive enough to get pissy about it), so judgments based on it always make me chuckle. Originally, I believe, all I claimed was that I was white in addition to making a white joke, not that I was female. But once you brought up, it was too good a chance not to make an oft repeated joke directed at Rhythm.
