Has anyone seen this show??? Does this send anyone else's mind into a frenzy with millions of crazy questions that arrise when you think about the lives of these chicks???

If one consents to sex, is it a half rape to have sex with the one that doesn't?

Can one of them be an Atheist and make the other convinced that their other head is dooming them to Hell by being an accomplice??

How is one of them afraid of heights and the other one not?

Why do they mouth the words in sequence as the other one speaks them?

It's so weird!!!!
Some people say that Christians are intolerant and bigoted, but it'd be hard to top that effort you just made.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

It actually took me a minute to process what you were saying to me and I'm still not quite sure, but it sounds as though my post came off as bigotry to you? I think you were distracted by the seemingly obtuse nature of my post. I was not attempting to be a bigot of any sort, nor did I mean to come across as "intolerant" of these girls (still not quite sure what would even give you that idea). Anyway, I'm fascinated by the unusual experience they share. It's almost a dual-individual experience in a life that you and I can only understand as a 1 seat ticket. Their appearance is not the subject of my curiosity nor am I at all concerned with painting them as lesser people. If anything, I'm sure they could enlighten us with their unique perspective. If all you see is them as an odd taboo, then what more could you learn? If I could talk to them directly, I'd gladly pay to do so. Unfortunately, I don't have that opportunity, so I'm reduced to speculation. If you do not wish to participate because you feel it's behavior of "intolerant" people or "bigotry", then by all means excuse yourself from the thread. Perhaps a question to me about my intentions would be more effective in the future, rather than assuming and implying judgemental labels to express your own presupposed feelings of intolerance.

Again...still not quite sure if you intended for me to get the message I thought you did. If not...disregard accordingly and good day to you!

Both completely legitimate questions!! You can't see how the same paradigm we experience falls apart when imagining theirs?

If they meet a guy. One of them likes him a lot and is sexually attracted to him (again, purely speculative). In fact one of them likes him enough to want to sleep with him. How in the world could one of them consent to having sex with him while the other contests it?? If so...What do you think that would be? Obviously half-rape seems absurd, but that only illustrates our inability to predict the crazy situations they could be subject to. That's part of what is interesting to me. That's my whole point!

Secondly...There is no 2 interpretations of Christianity. Each practicer of it seems to have their own criteria for what qualifies as behavior that is Hell-worthy. It is perfectly reasonable to think that one of them could share a certain perspective of Christianity that would make them think that the other's words and motives would be enough to damn them by association. I've heard much more ridiculous beliefs on this forum to know this is not an unlikey scenario. This is a perfectly valid question existing among an endless amount of others. That is all that was meant by this. Picking out 2 questions that seem as though they have potentially cotroversial topics...is not at all pointing out any example of bigotry or intolerance. C'mon...we're all adults capable of discussing things like this maturely. Move past the taboo and offer perspective.

Why don't you start by explaining to me what a "half rape" is? Rolleyes

Are you seriously trying to school me on Christianity???

There is no such thing as a half-rape, you nitwit. You clearly don't understand that attempting to imagine a different paradigm than ours implies certain rules that could not apply to us due to our inherent differences. The term "half-rape" was used to illustrate an example of such a particular instance that we, in our experience of life, are not prepared to handle, due to the different way that we view normality. But, your tiny scope of perspective can't seem to grasp such things beyond your puny view. If you spent half as much time trying to understand these concepts instead of trying to find reasons to be offended by them, you might widen your horizons, but the below comment tells me that such a thing may be beyond your intellectual capacity...

Oh, I wouldn't dream of such a thing. Start a new thread. Title it. School for Christianity, I would love to be your pupil. Matter of fact, I'lll help you out...

School for Christianity Thread

I graciously await your grand perspective. Teach me why you're not a raving idiot, and why Christianity isn't just a cult of raving idiots.

Half rape would be this:

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
