Surprising but true.

RE: Surprising but true.
I also learned to read at the age of three and was a bit of a math prodigy as a child.

The tendon inside my ring finger on my right hand is held together by a piece of string, because at the age of 13 I tried to open a jar of salsa which broke and sliced my finger all the way to the bone. I had to hold my finger together until a surgeon could fix it.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

1. My left leg is 3/8" shorter than my right one and rather thinner. Consequently, I have to wear a lift inside my shoe to even me out. Otherwise, it kills my back. On a related note, I had a large portion of the bone in my left shin removed when i was 10 to remove an osteoid osteoma, I was in a hip to toe cast for 3 months and a removeable brace for another 9 months for it to heal sufficiently for me to walk on it.

2. I was given I.Q. tests in junior high school and tested out at 146 on the Stanford-Binet exams.

I have a 2cm wide part on the back of my head where the hair grows in without pigments. I have lightish hair anyway, so it isn't that noticeable unless someone points it out.

Was it from a cut or something as a kid? I have a small scar on the back of my head that grows white hair from a time that I split it open when I was about 5.

Strangely, no. I have tons of scars on my head from my younger years, but that bit isn't one of them. I have had it since birth... well, unless my parents have lied to me all my life and it is actually from some wild experiment they did on me.

I got run over by a small truck at the age of 4, luckily only got a broken leg.

I started making chemical mixes at 6 in a laboratory that was an old shed were my grandma kept chickens. One day my mom called me, I let the lid on my mixing jar open... result: a dozen dead chickens.

I fell off a four floor in our apartment, when I was three years old. I landed on the bushes and started playing again.

I almost drown when I was four, when I fell off the docs into the sea.

Too many almost died situations for me.

I sleep with the TV on, I check to see what will play through the night because I am worried I will miss something I may have wanted to know. I cant stand quiet places for too long. Reading in a Library is torture. I have heard that other people with severe ADD do the same. Wanna go ride bikes? lol

I have the ability to ignore any sound.
My ex was amazed that I could sleep through a jack-hammer outside my window but immediately responded to her when she spoke to me while I was sleeping.
