Estimation of Intelligence

I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes. Obviously (and to preempt some of the stupid people) you can't get some exact score by judging someone's posts on here, but you can get a general idea of the really smart and really stupid people on here. What I find humorous however are those who call people stupid just when they disagree with them.

Edit: Also I think it goes far deeper than just someone's writing ability which is obviously a small portion of intelligence altogether. There is also the ability to present an idea, back it up and defend it. Also the ability to comprehend other people's ideas and respond to them intelligently. The people who tend to give rote forum replies in response to complicated ideas I don't think are particularly bright.

Uhhh.....you started a whole thread where you asked for the holocaust to be defined for you and denied that it existed. It's not like your pro-life and I'm pro-choice and so I call you an idiot. That's what I'm talking about here and what I see going on here. There is such thing as a historical method and in that thread you just made up your own, used a crazy combination of logical fallacies. The fact that you then believe that people are making fun of you just because they disagree with you is equally absurd. There are topics which belong in serious debate and topics where you should just make fun of the other person.

Note: Dawkins on Holocaust deniers being similar to creationists.

I started a separate thread to give a place to discuss the subject and not pollute other threads with unrelated material as you are doing so the first part of your statement is correct. I said that at the time.

The second part is a flat out lie and you are deliberately lying or are functionally illiterate.
