Kinda like the way Christian fundamentalists like him think they're contacting an inter-dimensional being through prayer and the Bible, believe they're being directed by him, and that they'll be granted eternal life after their god kills everybody (see the Book of Revelation). The term for this is "projection," Mr. Jones.

New one to me to but as a tool used by the theistic humans on this rock it seems to be an attempt to codify atheism as a religious belief.

Naturally not everyone fits the boxes and the definitions seem rather too broad to me.
