Horseshit. They begin with the assumption that this bullshit is true and that the gospels...no matter how fucked up they are... are relating some sort of historical material. When pressed to provide evidence it is the same pile of shit that average fundie morons trot out. "The bible says..."

Well the bible ain't worth shit, buddy.

For those who said that , they must quote theirs sources (others that the Bible and Josephus).

I suppose that this is possible why ?

Smile because the roman record is far from even being close to complete. We only know the recorded everything. They did not make a great effort to preserve it. In the case of Pilate very little is even known about him aside from what is written in the gospels.

its funny you say that, because there is only one other mentioning of Pilate outside of the gospels in any historical context. (His name is written on a stone but with no context) and yet historians agree he was a real person. Christ on the other hand has more surviving texts dedicated to his life than any one person in the history of the Roman Empire, and yet people want to cast doubt no. His very existence.

he didn't. Only poorly supported and produced YouTube videos say that there are connections.

nope. What else you got?

Examples?

Um, in the gospel stories Pilate comes across as something of a wimp. Since you, (as usual) don't know what the hell you are talking about, the far more detailed discussions of the man from Josephus and Philo portray a far more typically arrogant Roman praefect ( not "procurator" as the phony Tacitus reference contends) who ran his praefecture however he saw fit and certainly did not listen to a mob.

....and I am to take your word on this? Or will you find some commentary to support your statement?
