Generalizing aren't we? I happen to post frequently on several religious forums, including the dreaded Tweb:

How can we turn down the One who satiated sin's appetite for destruction by hanging naked on a cross, and rising from the grave therefore canceling sin's hungry rage? I never want to complicate my faith into a realm that exceeds the simplicity of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. No self help book's carefully phrased articulations will ever be able to outshine the light His truth shines into my soul..."

This was a person's post on my FB newsfeed. I just have to ask... is everyone so deluded and comfortable in the glass box of Christianity that absolutely no evidence contrary to your worldview will be even remotely considered? Is the reason literally because anything contrary "exceeds the simplicity of Jesus Christ"? Is questioning your thoughts, feelings, and actions so horrible of a predicament that unless you have a book telling you exactly how to think, feel, and act you can't function properly?
Always cracks me up when something like this is posted on an atheist forum. The Christians here are obviously comfortable with challenges to our worldview, or we wouldn't be here. You guys are the ones in the safety zone on this site.
Ohh puuuhhleeeze, if we only hint at atheistic content on a certain theist forum we're banned without notice. Everything has to be pre-packaged bullshit.

Just the opposite - I was very specific, as noted by the bolded portion above.

That's irrelevant, as the question was asked here.

I don't ask atheists here why they're against free speech because I was banned at atheistforums.com.

What was your name over there?

There is no freedom of speech on a private members only forum, either.

I don't care where you live, I'm asking for specifics, you made the statement now I think you should offer proof.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I know, yet atheists bitch about being banned from theist sites. The site owners have every right to make the rules.

That OP takes a statement from a theist on FB and misapplies it here. Any theist who makes it here long term is obviously trapped in a glass box or whatever.

I suspect that, when you were teaching, if you taught bible study at all, you very wisely redacted the immoral parts. All that incest and rape and murder and exhortations to the same.

Very sensible of you, but let's not be dishonest and pretend the bible is free from corrupt acts, nor corrupt rules supposedly ordained by god. For example, we rarely go around murdering people for having a different religion or sexual orientation, though that's in the bible.

Nor do we own slaves...

It contains no corrupt actions by God. God's justice is followed by discipline and the discipline He gives is weighed according to His righteous. The corrupt rules you perceive are those you do not want in your life, just because you do not like them doesn't mean they are corrupt. The scriptures do not try and white wash what man does, nor do they try to hide God's justice, just because you think His justice is wrong doesn't make it so. Slavery is at an all time high now over 25 million people, what are you doing about it? I mean since you do not believe there's a God shouldn't you be doing something to help besides nothing, which in reality is enabling slavery. You complain about slavery of the past yet ignore what's presently right under your nose, sounds like you just want to play the blame game.

OK, I live in east Tennessee, I'm a Christian you neglected to mention that one, I guess now we'll find out what you're up to, I know you've seen my religious view, you must think I'm stupid.
