It's too bad I never took part in the conversations you had at AF.com. I read through a good portion of the posts though!

As an outsider to the conversation, I did think you came off like you were posting with intention to Prosleytize. It did not seem that you addressed much of any of the contradictions and fallacies of your arguments, you instead accused members of creating fallacies of their own in an attempt to "invalidate" their points.

Now I spent about two hours going through the threads you participated in primarily. I will say this in your favor... Some of our members could have been more friendly and I wouldn't want to see anyone personally attacked for their beliefs.

Would I have banned you? If I was 100% in charge, probably not... Maybe I would have just ignored you after awhile. It is not the moderators that are in power though, it is the community!

If the community feels that you are there to preach and completely disregard all arguments, then so be it.

I was not an admin at the time of your ban and did not take part in the process what so ever that I can assure you. I am merely giving you my perspective on what I've read this far of your participation.

That being said, I am not here to debate or argue ANY of your posts or my opinions on those posts.

If you wish to read the very same thread starters I used there that were allowed to fully develop and peterout on their own, you can look at my history here. (A Christian can not start a biblically based conversation without sounding preachy to someone.) the question then becomes is the Christian in a place where 'free thought' is allowed?

Also note the only reason members were ignored was because two thirds of their posts had become a personal attack or blasphemous to the point that the topic was no longer the focus of the discussion.
Again something I mirror here as well, a policy I started long before my work on either atheist forums.

Because as I have explained a million times here, none are truly good by the standard of God.
How do you know that anyway? Do you talk to Her? You really couldn't be so sure if your conviction was only based on that weird book where every second paragraph contradicts another one prior to it.

I agree to good being a relative term (always is), but if there are terrible people who God supposedly hates, like the Sodomites, then there must be "less terrible" people who God doesn't hate (as much) and consequentially doesn't smite by dropping fire from heaven, so some are better than others to Her, heck even us Atheists are still alive despite all the blasphemous things we keep spewing here.

If I break all the ten commandments and climb up a mountain during a thunderstorm and scream "God is a cunt", how come God doesn't respond like he supposedly did against Sodom? Or was that just metaphorically speaking, cause it sure didn't sound like it.

Her who?

As I am speaking/teaching the God of the bible, the only reference i have avaiable to be is indeed the bible.
As far as contradictions are concerned, 'we' are only responsiable for what we can comperhend.

... And people who gossip, those who are quick to persecute and shed blood in the name of righteousness, and those who would harm a child. The list goes on to include acts that you might agree with and others that you might have thought to be benign.

Maybe it because the things you say are not blasphemous as you think they are, or maybe it is because something or someone has been "smitted" for all of the blasphemous things you will ever say and do.

If i were a betting man I would say that you were not smitted, because someone has been 'smote' in your place. This someone freely gave Himself up to be 'smote' on your behalf. Which leads to the ultimate sin, one that can not be forgiven. Some say that sin is ignoring the work/sacrifice that has been done on your behalf. I would tend to agree with this assessment.

If this someone who gets it because I blaspheme gave him-/herself freely, then it's not a sin on my part, I actually did them a favour. But I doubt they would be "smitten" because they enjoy it (*), I think God is just a bit passive agressive and lets it out on someone his own strength, so some poor turd gets stepped on when I blaspheme... shocking Big Grin

Except even you and nuts like you admit that he really didn't. You see, when "we" get smote we stay smoted. We don't get up again in a day or two and then fly up to fucking 'heaven.'

Surely even you can see the difference?

When 'we' get smote, the same thing that happened to Him happens to us. We/He die, and we/He are resurected. His resurection just happened sooner. (I guess it is good to be God)

Evidence for even one person being "resurrected?" (Including your absurd godboy.)

I read the three sentences 5 times at least (also 5 times the brackets), and I have no idea what you're talking about.

So, what exactly happens when we die? I don't mean what you might conjecture, but what really happens?
