Heh, shows that I should grow a humor gland too! Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

As best I can follow, here's MS's new equation for God:

(cats don't eat scorpions) + (human babies eat shit) = God

Got it!

Give an example of a sophisticated instinct vs a non sophisticated instinct.

And also tell me why a human would require more sophisticated instincts in order to survive. Considering that as you said we have the ability to learn, learn things like how to use money and supermarkets, as opposed to hunting and gathering food.

It's like saying "well this is weird, we're more advanced than animals yet I can't run as fast as a cheetah and I'm not as strong as a gorrilla, god must exist."

You're just an animal that doesn't need to be as fast or as strong or have certain instincts that other animals have.
The problem is that instincts is like data inside a computer
If you claim that our computer (brain) evolved better why its data is inferior?

Anyway instincts itself is a refutation of evolution as data cannot pump out inside a computer by itself, then inherited to offspring as well.

Prove it. Don't just claim it; provide proof for your assertion that instincts needed for survival need an outside source.

Fucking prove it.

Because I can certainly provide the theoretical underpinnings for the reverse. Can you do likewise?

The fact that the fight or flight instinct is experienced by every living organism on the planet is firm evidence that it is genetic, not learned, and certainly not obtained by magical sky daddies. In fact, laboratory and field experiments have confirmed that it has genetic components.

For instance:

'The difference between a Miracle and a Fact is exactly the difference between a mermaid and seal. It could not be expressed better.'
-- Samuel "Mark Twain" Clemens

"I think that in the discussion of natural problems we ought to begin not with the scriptures, but with experiments, demonstrations, and observations".

- Galileo Galilei (1564-1642)

"In short, Meyer has shown that his first disastrous book was not a fluke: he is capable of going into any field in which he has no training or research experience and botching it just as badly as he did molecular biology. As I've written before, if you are a complete amateur and don't understand a subject, don't demonstrate the Dunning-Kruger effect by writing a book about it and proving your ignorance to everyone else! "

I didn't, the theory of evolution makes no statement on "better" brains, if you can survive and pass on genetics then you are "better" and successful as opposed to those organisms who don't.

What does data pumping out inside a computer by itself have to do with evolution or biology?

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
