Nore does hardly any other person here who has already stated that they suffer from such things!!!
Only a few! Including yourself!
And as in each such case in which a person does that, it is a pathetic escape from responsibility rather than a actual case!!!!

Because people with 'mental health issues' don't fit in with very many people in the fleshsphere, and seek out likeminded individuals.
You'll notice that it's particular kinds of 'mental health issues'? We are missing whole swaths of them. I can't imagin-oh, that's why.

I do sometimes wonder about the purveyance of people on these forums who have or claim to have mental disorders. I think maybe people with social/anxiety/depression disorders tend to be attracted to internet forums, rather than just said people just being full of shit or necessarily misdiagnosed.

Everyone's full of shit, and everyone's psychologically clinical. Some people just hide it better than others.

Until they poop... then they're distinctly NOT full of shit. And really, a lot of people have shit in them, but it takes an awful lot to hit 'full'. A medical emergency sort of 'awful lot'.
What the heck does 'psychologically clinical' mean if it applies to everyone? I can't imagine that it is very serious.

Pretty much: any disorder that causes in one urges to seek others out, for whatever reason... with an amending: that they are not finding in satisfaction in the fleshsphere.
That's who all of yall are
That said... plenty of these people probably over-diagnose (at the least), and plenty more mistake some of their symptoms for certain things that are other things. Still, I'd rather they surmise that they might have <whatever> and test this... than they ignore it completely. Good way to turn a little thing into a big thing? Give it time.

I wonder how many disorders are diagnosed by people with disorders?
Do you have confidence in a therapist who is bipolar?

People with bipolar can be quite brilliant, so yes, I'd trust a therapist/doc with bipolar. Also, it gives them perspective on what they are treating, assuming their own illness is well managed.
I think of myself as pretty normal, or at least pretty damn good at faking it IRL, even if I don't feel it. There's been numerous instances that I've found myself mentally/emotionally completely discombobulated. Yet, when I point this out to friends or my husband, they have no clue that I am "off." It tends to manifest as annoyance, being short-tempered, or distracted, for me. My husband, my best friend, and mother were all shocked when I admitted myself to a hospital for treatment of severe depression and suicidal ideation.
Forums are a good way for me to gauge how much of what is in my head is fit for human consumption. It helps give me some perspective, without overloading my anxiety reflexes, which happens a lot IRL for me.

I don't think I could trust one... Having a therapist who has a "mental illness" either treated or untreated just can't be right, no matter how brilliant they may be.
A treated mental illness usually involves medication and therapy although sometimes it can be treated with therapy alone. Medications can have numerous side effects and anyone who has taken them can describe the effects of incorrect dosages, new drugs or even when ceasing any particular medication. Some medications prohibit the operation of heavy machinery for a reason. For this reason alone, I could name numerous occupations where any person on mind-altering medications (legal and non) should be prohibited. This would also include non-mental medications too depending on effects. The people you entrust with your well-being and safety should be fully responsible for their decisions. Specifically, possesing a drug free and rational mind...
I think if a professional therapist had bipolar that it would also give them a bias towards bipolar disorder. "Hey, I have it too, here, take this drug, it works for me!!!" Then you have the whole emotional aspect of dealing with people's problems. I don't think that someone who is sensitive to their environment should be poking around in some of the darkest corners imagineable.
Either way, it just looks like a lose-lose situation for both parties.
