Of course I can Esq. Non empirical evidence fulfills your criteria. I rationalise it to be true, and I and my fellow Christians defend that successfully every day here on AF. So we have evidence and we are showing it.

How do you show evidence which exists only subjectively?

Since we have no success on either side, neither has there been historically, we define success by our own sides correct presentation of the facts as we see them.
So I hope you listened to your own advice there faith.

Heya Drich. Havent seen you around in awhile, been busy in other threads? I'm curious as to if you've read my and fr0d0's recent conversation in this thread? Any thoughts?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

This is a non sequitur. A fact is a truth. It has nothing to do with how you see it. It either is, or isn't. Anything open to argument has not been presented as a fact.
But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret is as though it had an underlying truth.

Likewise with your 'facts' even.
To us 'it is'. We concur on that. Likewise you concur on your sumations. Within our groups these facts are not argued over, as we can all agree upon them.

If that was true, there would not be different denominations of the same faith that believes in the same god, but obviously disagrees on interpretation of scripture.

We all agree on the important stuff, which is the subject here. Interpretation of that isn't disputed.

No you don't. That's the reason for all the schisms. Sure, you may feel that you are at a point where you can gloss all of this over, but it's still there. There's no sense in repeating such an easily dismantled claim (and you've been doing it awhile....). Wouldn't it be much more useful to put something entirely more honest out there as a defense of an honest faith? My two cents anyway.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
