Just finished it up.

Really like Joel and Ethan Coen's pictures, Blood Simple and No Country for Old Men being particular favorites.


As for Fargo, damn, that is one dark film, ain't it?   And that Coen touch comes booming through though.


Enjoyed the heck out of it.
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

That's why I go for disturbing movies instead to get my fix of whatever it is that makes me want to watches these movies.

I know...it's such a bummer. My husband and I search high and low for good scary/disturbing movies to enjoy. It's a needle in a hay stack. We were lead to this one on Netflix recently which I thought was fairly decent on the disturb-o-meter:

Not perfect, but definitely not a bad way to kill 1.5 hours. Plus it's free! Mark Duplass fit the role nicely, I thought.

This one has traumatized me for life. I will NEVER watch it again:

Though it may not be as disturbing for people who aren't inherently terrified of that sort of thing.
