The Last Movie You Watched
RE: The Last Movie You Watched
The live action Beauty And The Beast.

Kind of meh. Emma Watson isn't a singer (and I'm not convinced she's that good an actor), the furniture friends weren't that charming, and I was generally underwhelmed. I actually thought the cartoon version was better acted. Undecided

What I did like was the animation on the Beast, they did a really good job at capturing his expressions and the production design was pretty good, I liked that the castle crumbled a little every time a petal dropped.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

I was too tired to finish How to be a Latin Lover last night but managed to hang on long enough to be surprised with the first spontaneous belly laugh I've had lately, courtesy of a film. The movie centers on a middle-aged gigolo who has been tossed out by his octogenarian wife when she takes up with a younger man. His friend -- a fellow gigolo, played by Rob Lowe, who is happily kept by his oversexed elderly wife played by Linda Lavin -- has a ring tone that is the theme song from Golden Girls. Somehow hearing that hit me just right and caused me to bray with laughter.

I think Emma's gorgeous in her yellow gown, but that's not my kind of production.

Collateral

Rotten tomatoes described it as a tense thriller.  I found it dull.

I stopped watching anything with him in it a long time ago.

On Netflix.  Very good; very creepy.

Put that one on my list of movies to watch.

Yeah.

Movies by Tom Cruise are also on my "avoid at all costs" list.

I thought Tom Cruise was gorgeous in Collateral... very distinguished looking, albeit as a hit man. I loved that film Tongue

I recently watched Leon: The Professional . I've seen The Professional before; however, Leon is an extended version: IMO, the extra scenes do add some more clarity to the film, especially the scene where Mathilda attempts to take out Stanfield.

P.S. If anyone has ever been into the Hitman video game franchise, then you might enjoy this movie, as Leon's stealth and precision is awesome.
