Gojira, 1954. Still cool.

Watched 80% of Alien Covenant when my projector globe died!
I was wondering what all those warning messages to change the globe were for?

The new Spider-Man. The first half is much more believable than other versions, but kind of boring. Will watch the second half tonight.

Alien Covenant. I've been dreading watching that film because of all the bad reviews... but I actually liked it. I didn't know it was meant to follow on from Prometheus, so finding that out was cool... and I think it answered a lot of questions from Prometheus, so perfectly happy with it.
Saw Alien Covenant a couple of weeks ago on an airplane...with no sound or subtitles.
Followed it well enough, though I had to fill in most of the friggin' dialogue in my head. WARNING: SPOILER ALERTS> Okay, so Future Magneto's created 2 younger versions of himself, as well as a young version of his dearest frenemy Chuck Xavier as played by Billy Crudup, right? Now, one Magneto seem kinda okay, but other's kind of evil and is really pushing to take the whole Brotherhood of Evil Mutants thing to the next level. He's been in the process of cloning, designing and "perfecting" and army of Wolverines who have been genetically altered to become even more efficient killing machines....they've got acid for blood! He also appears to develop a sick fixation with the Nicer Magneto's sporty, tomboyish little love interest, Jubilee...or perhaps she was Xavier's lady? Hard to tell. Anyhoo, Evil Magneto wins. Yep.
^^ That sounds like a better movie than the one I saw, lol.
