I liked Tom Hardy's performance in The Dark Night Rises. And that's about it. Breaking someone's back and they recover? C'mon.

I mean yeah, there is a lot of things wrong in that movie, but generally I find it to be pretty good. And in terms of the back breaking part, I suppose it depends how bad it is? The guy later in the movie says "there is a vertebrae, protruding out of your back" , so maybe not 'broken' just dislodged some bits. I mean he also whacks it back into place with his fist....but that's besides the point. Tom Hardy, voice and all, is very good in that film. Love the final showdown with Batman in the square, and the music that goes with it. The whole "we both know I have to kill you now" line is great.
"Be Excellent To Each Other"
I guess the thing I found most problematic with the movie is how cliche it was. It didn't just borrow from every hero story ever written, it almost became a parody of them.

Hence the reason I only saw it once. I heartily disliked Dark Knight Rises, which was such a shame because I really enjoyed Batman Begins and Dark Knight.
