Plot:
Some kids break into an old mans house under the pretense of stealing some money. The chap is blind, an also an ex-army dude. Things take a turn for the worst when the robbery goes very wrong, and they discover something dark about the blind man's life....


Thought:
There are a fair few plot holes, and at times it isn't the best edited  movie I've seen BUT it has something not a lot of horror/scary films have, genuine tension. You kind of let everything else go because everything thing is so tense/on edge, that you just want the people to get out. All in all, not bad. Something mildly different from a genre of movie, which isn't all "blood and guts".

I've watched it a thousand times, and it's still great.  I was going to watch Donnie Darko after this last night, but I lay down for a bit and didn't wake up again in time.

I Tonya.

A very good film, well acted and directed. Its a sort of docu-tragi-comedy of errors.
It followed the rather brutal life of Tonya Hardy and the elitism amongst she faced which if she had been a black woman would have been seen as racism.
Her volatile home life and the lack of basic intelligence by anyone she encountered in her life led to the farce that we all know.

I liked it a lot and despite not knowing anything about figure skating grew to enjoy the skill of the skaters.
