One of the most intense movies I have seen in a long time. A must see!

John Dies At the End

I don't know if I would watch it again, but it was interesting, unique, and a bit surreal. Netflix instant watch Smile

Well, the last movie I saw in a theatre was The Great Gatsby. While there's nothing really false to Fitzgerald, per se, (except maybe the inexplicable framing story of Nick writing the novel to cope with his traumas) the style is so hyperactive it's utterly annoying. Not everything has to look like a music video, Baz Luhrman.

But the last movie I've watched on a DVD was Fando y Lis, a film by Alejandro Jodorowsky. It was the first of his seven features; five if you don't count the ones he disowned, and four if you don't count the upcoming Dance of Reality, which hasn't even been released yet, and, since I've only seen The Holy Mountain, El Topo, and that film, I have to say it's likely the weakest film he didn't disown.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I don't remember. I don't have time to watch movies. The little time I have for scratching my back with a fork I use to log on here. Other than that I'm always busy Sad I want to go watch a movie at the theatre. Undecided

Monsters University. Wasn't as good as Pixar usually is, but still a very entertaining movie. I did have a bit of trouble dealing with the fact that the entire thing essentially boils down to a college movie about training to join a corporation that is downright evil, as anyone who saw the first movie already knows.

The last movie I saw on dvd was... well, Monsters Inc. Tongue Right after getting home from the theater. That was a good use for a night. Big Grin

Last one was "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", a unique film, I can't compare it to anything else.
