What else could they be with such a shitty book series to be based on? Tongue

Makes me wonder how bad the adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey is going to be, since the books are even more horrible than Twilight.. Thinking
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I have a confession. I actually enjoyed the Twilight books.

[sarcasm]

National Treasure 1 & 2, Ghost Rider, Face Off, The Sorceror's Apprentice, Knowing......those would be my top movies. Pretty much anything with Nicolas Cage, he is the best actor to have ever lived ever.

1. The Shawshank Redemption (1994) Really well made film. Definitely not good enough to be no. 1 though.
2. The Godfather (1972) Boring. Turned it off after about 30 minutes. Shouldn't even be in the top 1000.
3. The Godfather: Part II (1974) I have not seen it.
4. Pulp Fiction (1994) I haven't seen this either.
5. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) Nor this.
6. The Dark Knight (2008) Another one that bored me shitless. I tried to sit though the whole thing, but fell asleep. My sister was piiiissed
7. 12 Angry Men (1957) [b]Never even heard of this one.

8. Schindler's List (1993) Brilliant film.
9. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) Should be higer up the list than this!
10. Fight Club (1999) Why the fuck isn't this number 1?

It would be a really hard thing to make such a list, which is why I would suppose to make a top ten list for each specific genre of film.

Where I would for now say that Goddfellas is the best gangsterfilm. The Good The Bad and The Ugly or There will be blood is the best western. Waltz with Baschir the best warmovie. and for the rest I`d need more thinking

Oh goody, a movie thread. I want to see some good ones.

I don't recognize the movie the top photo is from.

Of course I know the you-can't-handle-the-truth movie in the middle.

The bottom one is the FREEDOM!-guy.

Don't know the one on the right, but isn't that guy a comedian.

Most Tarantino films don't hold my interest. I really liked Django Unchained, but otherwise... [shrugs]

You have to understand, I was raised on Bogart, not Tarantino.
