Baltika #6, an excellent bargain for a porter. Not "a great porter," but hard to refuse at that price. Porters are my favorite, though I've grown fond of stouts given the relative difficulty in obtaining good porters round about here.
I am not sure. I have been gone for so long. I do not drink alcohol tho.

I haven't quite gotten used to beer yet, but I hopefully am getting there. My sister-in-law-to-be offered me some London Porter and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. And a couple of days ago my friend made me taste some lager with a really nice and fruity aftertaste. Maybe there's hope for me after all Talking about poison and favorite drinks, that are non-alcoholic, this is the best coffee ever! A really soft and nice dark roast, with a taste of what I can only describe as a mildly fruity with a hint of dark chocolate and a little bit of caramel. Brilliant on it's own, but best served with milk with high fat content. When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? Dirty vodka martini. Shaken, not stirred.
After-dinner treat, before-dinner appetizer, cold and flu remedy, and excellent prop when I want to look bad ass in front of men, besides being delicious. And: RE: Pick your poison

The last stop before the end of my shopping extravaganza at the area half-price book stores and their half-off-coupon sale was right around the corner from my favorite tea shop. I haven't had much tea of late, and all this talk of tea had me primed and thirsting for a large pot of tuo cha pu-erh, rinsed then steeped. Upon arriving at the shop, I was rudely surprised to find that they close early on Sunday, and no tea was to be had. The only thing nearby that I knew was open and would fill my caffeinated beverage Jones was a Starbucks. I was tempted to sprinkle some of my bottled water in the dirt and lick that up instead. Sadly, I relented and had a horribly badly roasted Sumatra. To my chagrin, I later discovered a Caribou coffee franchise not two blocks away, but I was ignorant of it at the time. Closing at 5 o'clock on a Sunday. I'm just sure the resulting bad karma incurred by the owners for such a calumny will result in them being reborn as cross-eyed yaks. The nerve of some people.
Whenever I go to a big shopping complex, I always get myself a lime thickshake as a reward. I hate shopping unless it is a hardware or electronics store.

I say 'invented' but I'm sure you've all had the same/similar ideas, too. We called it an 'Ayatollah' because the following morning felt like we'd had a death sentence issued on us. Recipe is: - Milk (full fat) - Vodka (a decent one) - Red/summer fruits (we tried a mix of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cherries but almost any berry combo works) - Ice - Bung it all in a blender & hit the button until you get an alcoholic smoothie-type drink - Get smashed My friend has since passed away so now o'days I only mix this on the anniversary of his death.

You know Ben, that sounds really delicious. I guess it would work with ice cream as well(?)
