I love the guy and he is absolutely right, we are star stuff, but just leave it at "I have an intense sense of awe" when thinking about it, and not woo it up. Having a common past does not mean we are connected today.

There are so many new age wooers who will latch on to his wording and twist it to mean that the universe is a living thing, which it is not. Life is a manifestation of material and conditions, like a hurricane is made up of water clouds and atmosphere conditions.
