Why I Am Pro-Life

I did answer the question. That's an extra question. Personally, I value it less than sentient life. That doesn't mean I don't value it at all.

Less than a sentient male life, more than a female, clearly.

a lot of things fall under less than sentient. A plant? you value it more than say, a cabbage?

because i'd value a cabbage more than an embryo, cabbage feeds people, embryo (if in the mum), does nothing. But embryo in a lab would be valuable.

I think the way you value an embryo is based on emotions? Because you know it has the potential to be a baby?

eggs are tasty :p

Everything from conception onwards is human life.

Repeatedly quoting a wrong thing does not make it right, and never will. But I suspect that you knew this already.

"In short, Meyer has shown that his first disastrous book was not a fluke: he is capable of going into any field in which he has no training or research experience and botching it just as badly as he did molecular biology. As I've written before, if you are a complete amateur and don't understand a subject, don't demonstrate the Dunning-Kruger effect by writing a book about it and proving your ignorance to everyone else! Science is wrong. Nice stance.

Oh. My. God.

My sentiments exactly.

Let's retrace your various positions so far:

First, preventing a human from existing is wrong. A woman's body does not automatically triumph an embryo's existence. Then, stem cells is ok, which involves plenty of embryos to sacrifice for one human. Then, IVF and frozen embryos are ethical problem. Then, embryo is not just a cell it's more than a cell but after asking you repeatedly, you don't quite know why.

Awesome. Maybe you want to sort out your stance before you defend it.

The problem isn't with my statements pineapple but your gross misunderstanding of them.

You offer absurd reasoning to justify the unimportance of human life.

You don't seem to understand ethics or ethical choices, and that when I make a choice as you force me to do, that me choosing to terminate a human life doesn't mean that I don't value human life.

This is turning into a conversation with a clown.

Do you even understand the idea of value? Because you keep insisting that there's value in an embryo, and yet unable to explain why, and then unable to assign value, only did i ask you to make choices to try to understand what value you actually assign to it. You do, apparently, get that value is not a dichotomy, because you said you value it less than a sentient life. But can't get anymore specific than that can you? And embryos sitting in a fridge is also an ethical problem, but once we use them to treat illnesses it's ok. But you don't want to explain why. Why are you even having this conversation at all if you just expect people to swallow your absurd statements or read your mind?

I only justified the unimportance of embryos. If you think it's absurd that I value something that can fix hunger than I do an embryo, well I don't see why someone should suffer, however little, for something else that does not have the capacity to feel, that's why. And you have tried so many times to say that that means I don't value human life, which includes sentient humans, and I've said again and again that I don't condone murder and you just keep bringing it up.

I'm fine with ethics, I just don't understand your brand.
