To be honest I quite like William and Harry, mainly just for the fact they seem quite down to earth considering their position in life (at least from interviews I've seen etc). Put it this way, I'd much rather the country be represented by William, than any of the politicians in British parliament. And that's despite the fact I think we should get rid of the monarchy all together.
Other than that I couldn't care less about the "royals".

Yeh I admit both William and Harry have lovable faces compared to David fucking Cameron, that guy has the most punchable smug cunt face in the entire world, it's only comparable to maybe piers morgan.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

I don't know if it's just the people I work with or the people I'm surrounded by but I, and pretty much everyone I know and work with and all my close family do not give one solitary shit what the royal family do.
The way the newspaper report on the royal family it's as if everyone is on the edge of their seat watching them get married or dying or working in the army or having a baby.
Even if they all died in a car crash all in one go I wouldn't be interested apart from wondering whether they will be replaced by another aristocratic family which will have to be funded by tens of millions of the general public's money.
Today one of them will be having a baby, it's taken up the first three pages of the newspaper, yet I've been to work come back and now I'm home and I haven't heard anyone, people who I work with or even general members of the public who I pass by mention the story or talk about it even slightly. I guess its a generic anglosphere thing.

It's a 'stache..
(But royal and cool, nevertheless!)
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I am British and when reading todays news people were complaining that this Baby as all over the news, we're all like: Who the hell cares?!. Yes its a baby well done now please let us get on with more important stuff like Global warming or half of Al Quaida had escaped prison.

People say it isn't important, but this baby will one day be one of the most powerful people on the planet. Hell it's already more powerful than me and it's only been alive a few hours.

Whoa, don't be so hasty. There is plenty of time for it to die before that.

It depends how you define power, I'm not sure what influence the royal family has over any politics or decisions about anything these days.

The monarch du jour has the power to dissolve Parliament and refuse to sign laws into statute. Beyond that, I think the only power any of them have is to distract attention from the real news stories and shift papers.
To borrow a phrase from my Dad; if the entire Royal family disappeared tomorrow, nobody would notice, though there might be more money in the public coffers. The world would keep on turning. If all the binmen vanished tomorrow, we'd all be up to our ears in shit by Friday.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
